Meet the Team

Joel Guerra

Joel has been in the financial services industry since 1995. For nearly three decades, he has enjoyed helping clients navigate the challenges of managing their financial plans and reaching their objectives. He has experienced many life-changing events with clients throughout the years and that is what continues to motivate him today. He holds the CLU (Chartered Life Underwriter) and ChFC (Chartered Financial Consultant) designations from The American College and the RICP (Retirement Income Certified Professional) designation from The College for Financial Planning.
Joel and his wife Diane were married in 1994. They have two adult children, Alyssa and Matthew. Joel, Diane, Alyssa and (soon to be) Matthew are all graduates of the University of Arizona. Joel enjoys traveling and playing golf. He has visited and played golf in all 50 states. He and Diane look forward to seeing the world in the years to come. He also competes in triathlons – having completed nearly 50 races, including multiple Ironman and half-Ironman races. He is a member and ministry leader at Saddleback Church in Lake Forest.

Brandon Jansma

Brandon has been in the financial services industry since 2008. From his very first day, he has enjoyed helping clients navigate the challenges of managing their financial objectives and finding the meaning behind their money. He has experienced many life-changing events with clients throughout the years and that is what continues to motivate him today.
Brandon and his wife Michele were married in 2010. They have two young children, Ryan and Micah. Brandon enjoys spending time with his family, backpacking, trail running, snowboarding, and surfing. Brandon has surfed the north shore of Oahu and backpacked the mountain ranges in Alaska in the Wrangell St. Elias national park the largest national park in America. Brandon’s wife Michele is passionate about dance and has owned a dance studio in Huntington Beach since 2016. Brandon and his family are grateful for all God has given to them and look forward to the journey ahead both professionally and personally.

Diana Chien

Diana has been in the financial services industry since 2010. For over 10 years, Diana has been helping clients build and achieve goals as a Financial Advisor. There is nothing more rewarding to her than seeing a client and their family feel safe and secure in their financial future. She holds the RICP (Retirement Income Certified Professional) designation from The College for Financial Planning.

Diana grew up locally in Irvine and graduated from California State University of Fullerton majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. Diana adopted her cat McDreamy at the Irvine Animal Shelter in 2008 and he enjoys making impromptu appearances during her zoom calls. On her days off, you will find Diana exploring all of what Southern California has to offer. She may be serving at church, attending an art exhibit in Los Angeles, cheering on her boys in blue at Dodger Stadium, people watching at Disneyland or spending quality time with her friends and family.

Lynn Luong

Lynn has been an administrative assistant for the team since 2014 and strives to provide clients with the best service. She is married and has two adult sons. Lynn enjoys hiking the many trails Irvine has to offer during her free time as well as playing tennis, the piano and catching up on the latest movies.

Diane Guerra

Diane has been an administrative assistant for the team since 2019.   Prior to joining the team, Diane had one of the most important jobs – being a stay at home mom to Alyssa and Matthew.  She lives in Trabuco Canyon with husband Joel. Diane loves to travel, hike and workout with friends.  She is a member at Saddleback Church and enjoys being part of the welcome ministry.

What if my Financial Advisor is not in the office?

You can reach out to Brandon, Joel or Diana for assistance. You can also contact our assistant Lynn.

Our responsibility is to meet with you annually to review your situation. In cases where you desire more frequent meetings, we will accommodate your request but ask that we meet no less frequently than annually. If more frequent meetings are desired, that is never a problem.
